Frances de la Tour is an English actress. She was born 30 July, 1944 in Bovingdon, Hertfordshire, England. She has done a number of stage presentations, including works with the Royals Shakespeare Company. She portrays Olympe Maxime in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.

Behind the scenes
- de La Tour appeared together with fellow Harry Potter film star Richard Griffiths (Vernon Dursley) in the 2011 film Hugo (a film adaptation of Brian Selznick's The Invention of Hugo Cabret), in which de la Tour's character, Madame Emilie, served as a love interest for Griffith's character, Monsieur Frick.
- She also played a giant in the Disney film, Into the Woods.
- She and Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbledore) played a married couple of cannibals in the post-apocalyptic science fiction film The Book of Eli, co-starring Gary Oldman.
