Frost Salamanders[1] were a variety of magical salamanders that were closely associated with ice instead of fire.[2] Small in size, these lizards had body temperatures below freezing, allowing them to survive extremely cold conditions.[1] Frost Salamanders were particularly vulnerable to the Fire-Making Spell, but were resistant to the Verdimillious Charm and Red Sparks.[1]
