Fudge Flies were sweets sold at Honeydukes.[1]
History[]
Fudge Flies were a favourite sweet of Scabbers, Ron Weasley's pet rat. In February 1994, Ron thought Scabbers was dead. He told people at a party celebrating Gryffindor's victory in Quidditch against Ravenclaw, that Scabbers could have enjoyed some Fudge Flies if he hadn't been killed by Hermione Granger's cat, Crookshanks.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- The mainland Chinese translation of the book mistranslates their name as though it referred to Cornelius Fudge, which confused a number of Chinese readers.[2]
