This funeral was a ceremony to honour Elphinstone Urquart, who passed away in 1985 after being bitten by a Venomous Tentacula. Minerva McGonagall, the widow, attended the funeral and afterwards could not bear to live in the small cottage in Hogsmeade in which the couple had lived. She then packed her things and left the cottage, settling in her living quarters at Hogwarts Castle.[1]
