G. Weasley (b. pre-1875)[1] was a British pure-blood wizard[2] and the brother of Matilda Weasley, a former Deputy Headmistress and Professor of Transfiguration at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 19th century.[3]
Biography[]
He had a son, Garreth Weasley, and one daughter.[3] As his sister, Matilda, had "many nephews",[4] he possibly had more sons or more siblings with children of their own. He and his family were regularly the 'test subjects' of Garreth Weasley's experimental potions.[3]
Some time before or during the 1890–1891 school year, he sent his sister a letter thanking her for taking the time to tutor and discipline his son, Garreth Weasley.[3]

Furthermore, in the 1930s, just 40 years after the events of Hogwarts Legacy, the Weasleys were considered to be among the most pure-blood families in Great Britain (see Sacred Twenty-Eight).
