Gemini WW

The Gemini symbol

Gemini is one of the twelve astrological signs in the western zodiac.[1] Every year, the sun is in this sign from 21 May to 20 June, and those born during this period are considered Geminis (also called Geminians).[1] The Daily Prophet ran a horoscope for Gemini and the other signs of the zodiac in the horoscope section featured on its back page by 1995.[2]

Traits[]

According to astrologers, Geminis were governed by the planet Mercury, meaning communication was key to this star sign. Known for their gift of the gab, Geminis were charming, quick-witted, and had a penchant for gossip. Among all the zodiac signs, theirs was often considered the fastest-moving mind, capable of swift thinking and conversation.[3]

Geminis were known for quickly picking up new hobbies and skills. Instead of specialising in one subject, they had a wide range of knowledge across many areas. Some astrologers even referred to them as "mental magpies", constantly collecting information, gossip, and tidbits of knowledge before moving on to the next interesting thing. This was largely driven by their insatiable curiosity and constant desire to learn more.[3]

As an Air sign, Geminis were associated with the intellect. Their sharp minds craved intellectual stimulation, and they enjoyed being challenged. Their curiosity pushed them to constantly seek new information and experiences. Geminis also thrived on spontaneity, rejecting routine and monotony. Always ready for an impromptu adventure, they embraced the excitement of the unexpected, valuing the moment over any plans or schedules.[3]

Geminis were also highly adaptable, able to change and adjust to any situation. Their symbol, the twins, reflected the dual nature of their personalities. Unfortunately, this adaptability led to an unfair reputation of being two-faced. In reality, Geminis were more like chameleons, changing to suit the needs of the moment rather than being deceitful.[3]
