A grey owl belonged to the fraudulent wizarding author Gilderoy Lockhart in the 20th century.[1]
Biography[]
Lockhart possessed a photograph of himself with the owl during one of his supposed adventures;[1] however, given that all his "adventures" were, unbeknownst to the wizarding community, fabricated and stolen from actually accomplished witches and wizards,[2] it is highly likely that this adventure never occurred — and that the owl may not have been his at all.
