A ginger cat is a coat-colour of cat, commonly recognised by its ginger fur. It was a possible corporeal form of the Patronus Charm.[1] Ginger was one of several colours of cats available at the Magical Menagerie in Diagon Alley. One could be purchased for 9 Galleons.[2]
History[]
The ginger cat was one of several cat coats that could be found in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Hogsmeade and other wizarding villages in the late 1890s.[3]
