A globe is a spherical object which displayed a map of the Earth.[2]
History[]
Countless globes were dotted around Hogwarts Castle throughout the 1890–1891 school year.[3] In the 1920s, Eulalie Hicks had a globe in her office at Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.[4]
A large globe known as the Case Map was located in the headquarters of the Rare, Obscure, and Confounding Case Division. It was held by a statue of the Titan Atlas from Greek mythology and displayed the locations of currently ongoing cases assigned to ROCC agents.[1]
There was a globe in the Room of Requirement in at least the 1996–1997 school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was sitting on a table in the room.[5]
