"I'm sure they'd never go over to You-Know-Who. They've suffered losses too. Remember that goblin family he murdered last time, somewhere near Nottingham?"
—Arthur Weasley recalls this family's death.[src]

This family of goblins lived somewhere near Nottingham. During the First Wizarding War, they were murdered by Voldemort for an unknown reason. Arthur Weasley recalled this event during a discussion about the loyalty of the goblin community with his son Bill and Remus Lupin, citing this as the reason why the goblins might be against the current Voldemort regime.[1]
