Ranrok's goblin rebellion

Goblin supremacy was a view espoused by Ranrok and his Loyalists as part of their goblin rebellion in the 19th century. The principal aims of the movement were to allow goblins to have wands and to supplant wizardkind as the dominant race of the magical world. Ranrok sought to achieve this by unlocking the final repository, a vast store of ancient magic in the Keepers' Caverns beneath Hogwarts Castle, which he successfully did in his invasion of the school. However, he was ultimately defeated by a fifth-year student.

Ranrok's hatred of wizardkind began when he had been assaulted by an unidentified dragon breeder. After that, he tarred all wizards and witches with the same brush, considering them to be exploitative, deceitful, and cruel.
