- "Be on guard if you lose a point with one of these in this popular wizarding game."
- — Description[src]
A Gobstone was a round magical ball used to play popular wizarding game Gobstones. Gobstones were similar to ordinary Muggle marbles, except that when a player lost a point in Gobstones, the stone squirted a putrid liquid at the player.[1] Sold in sets of thirty, Gobstones were most commonly made of stone, but may also be made of precious metals,[1] such as gold.[2] The Noisy Hitter was a variety of Gobstone.[3]
