- Mathilda Grimblehawk: "Hullo, Myra! Have you looked at those Muggle goggles?"
- Myra Curio: "I have indeed, they're fascinating! I suppose Muggles need to protect themselves with all that machinery around."
- — Mathilda Grimblehawk asks Myra Curio to analyse a pair of creature-damaged Muggle goggles, from a construction site[src]
Goggles are protective eyewear used by Muggles that enclose or protect the area surrounding the eye in order to prevent particulates, water or chemicals from striking the eyes.[1]
When the Ministry of Magic received word that a Muggle construction work was ploughing into a forest with magical creatures, and that workers had been attacked by something, Mathilda Grimblehawk and her partner were sent to investigate. They retrieved a damaged pair of safety goggles, with scratches that pointed to a beast with long, sharp fingers.[2]
