The Golden Quill Awards were a set of awards given out at regular intervals in the wizarding community.[1] They were presumably given out to honour various achievements in writing or journalism.

In 1926, The New York Ghost reported that the Golden Quill Awards were to be held in Fitzrovia, London.[1]

Behind the scenes

  • There are several real-world award ceremonies bearing the name "Golden Quill Awards," including one held yearly by The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania to honour "excellence in print, broadcast, photography, videography and digital journalism" in western Pennsylvania, as well as neighbouring parts of Ohio and West Virginia.[2]
