This golden jinx produced an unknown effect, though it was presumably offensive in some capacity. Arthur Weasley was capable of preforming this jinx.[1]
Behind the scenes
- In an early draft of the script for the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Arthur Weasley uses this spell to try and repel Nagini, but misses.[1] However, as in the novel, Nagini strikes Arthur almost immediately after he draws his wand, before any spells can be cast.
