- — Christmas decorations at Hogwarts[src]
The golden owl was a type of owl found in the wizarding world.
History[]
In December 1994, Hogwarts wanted to impress their fellow magic schools who were attending the Triwizard Tournament, and decorated every Christmas tree in the Great Hall with real, golden owls that hooted.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- It is unknown if this was a magical subspecies of owl or a non-magical owl with a spell put on it.
