This curse (incantation unknown) was cast by Granum Dale on his family's tomb that would affect any of his descendants who entered it. The curse would transfigure the victim's feet into purple beets.[1]
History[]
Granum Dale stole the family crest off his brother, Marmaduke Dale's sarcophagus and put on a curse on the tomb to prevent his descendants entering it. Centuries later in the 1890s, Samantha Dale discovered the curse in her research. She told her brother, William who didn't take her seriously and tried to enter the tomb. His feet transfigured into purple beets and he had to be taken to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. In order to break the curse, Samantha asked her friend if they would enter the tomb to return her family crest to Marmaduke's sarcophagus. Upon their success, the curse was lifted.[1]
