Greenhouse One was where the first-year Herbology classes were taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The room had no dangerous species as it was for the first-year students. Second and subsequent year students took the class in Greenhouse Three, which had more advanced material.[1] A fat cactus-like plant could be found here.[2]
History[]
Pomona Sprout taught the Sunlight Charm to her first-year students in this greenhouse in the 1991–1992 school year, in order to teach them how to defeat the Devil's Snare.[3] Pomona Sprout and, eventually, Neville Longbottom continued using this greenhouse as the first-year Herbology classroom.[4]
