The Gringotts Bank Automated Teller Machine was an automated teller machine belonging to Gringotts Wizarding Bank located around all-wizard locations, such as Hogsmeade, to make withdrawals and deposits easier.[1]
In 1992, Harry Potter was displeased that he was unable to find any in Diagon Alley.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
- As Muggle devices that ran on electricity did not work in environments with too much magic in the air,[3] these machines may have been modified like wirelesses or wizarding cameras to run off magic or the magical atmosphere,[4] or their appearance may be non-canon.
Appearances[]
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (video game) (Indirect mention)
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (First appearance)
