The reading room at Gryffindor Tower was a small library area in which Gryffindors could read and study.[1][2]
History[]
Percy Weasley used to spend the evenings making revision in this room in his fifth year and sixth year. Any students that would disturb him in the room at night would be subjected to the Leg-Locker Curse by him.[1][2]
A crawlspace in one of the walls (covered by the portrait of Valeria Myriadd in the 1991–1992 school year and the portrait of Oraclitus Spheer in the 1992–1993 school year) linked this room to sixth floor or seventh floor disused bathrooms, which was used by Fred and George Weasley as a shop.[1][2]
