- — Gryffindor students before the game
The Quidditch match was held between Gryffindor and Slytherin in 1985. It ended in a victory for Gryffindor who upset Slytherin when they acted very proud and wound them up over it.[2]
Before the game, Slytherin held one of their House meetings about it. At the same time, Jacob's sibling took the opportunity while everyone was distracted by the game, to sneak into another House common room. They tricked the House Prefect in order to find an object, which would help them find the missing Ben Copper.[2]
Behind the scenes
- Charlie Weasley would be in his second year at Hogwarts at the time of the game. It's unknown when he joined the Gryffindor Quidditch team and became Seeker. It's possible he joined in the second year and played in the game, winning victory for Gryffindor.
- Since the game operates on the choices of the player, what happened after the game will be different for players based on their House. Ravenclaw and Slytherin students sneak into the Gryffindor common room and watch the Gryffindor build up to the game. Hufflepuff and Gryffindor sneak into the Slytherin common room and watch the Slytherin build up.[2]
- At the end of the game, Slytherin players will plan revenge on Gryffindor for beating them. The players of another House will plan revenge on Slytherin for their treachery and tricks.[3]
