Gubraithian Fire (incantation unknown), also known as Everlasting fire, is a flame which has been enchanted to burn forever without dying. It is quite an advanced piece of magic, as few wizards were capable of it.
History
Whether or not the casting of this spell was taught at Hogwarts was unknown, however, according to Hermione Granger, by Harry Potter's fifth year, Professor Flitwick had mentioned the spell at least twice during his Charms lessons.[1]
As a gift for the Giants, Albus Dumbledore provided Rubeus Hagrid with a branch of this fire, and the gift seemed to go down quite well.[1]
