Hannah Wellengood was a witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the 21st century.
Biography[]
Hannah was born at some point between 1990 and 1997, as she attended Hogwarts during the same time as an unidentified Muggle-born Hogwarts student. At some point in her school year, she had an accident involving being covered in Stinksap and, despite using a Scouring Charm on her clothes, claimed she could still smell the Stinksap. She was hiding out on the grounds when her friend Chauncey Clearwater found her, hearing that she had had a bad day. Hannah revealed that, during Transfiguration class, she had accidentally switched her nose with a needle. She initially refused to return to the common room, though when she heard that a first year student was giving out Cauldron Cakes, she happily returned.[3]
In December 2010, she talked to her friend Chauncey about their recent visit to Hogsmeade. She told him she didn't want to go back there. He was confused because he thought they had a great time. She responded that she did, but she didn't want to go back there in case she had a bad time there in the future and it ruined her memory of it. Chauncey called her "hopeless".[3]
Behind the scenes[]
- Hannah switched her nose with a needle with a Switching Spell, a spell that is taught to fourth and fifth year students at Hogwarts, implying she was in at least her fourth year during the 2008–2009 school year, though this is unconfirmed.
