Harriet A. Thorpe is an English actress who portrayed Wakanda in a deleted scene of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.[1]
Training: Central School of Speech and Drama.
Harriet is best known as Carole in the BBC's popular Brittas Empire and Fleur in Absolutely Fabulous. More recently, she appeared as Madame Morrible in Wicked (Apollo Victoria), opposite Jason Donovan as Mrs Lovett in John Doyle’s Sweeney Todd (TMA Awards Best Supporting Performance in a Musical nomination) and as Fraulein Kost in Rufus Norris's production of Cabaret (West End).
Theatre includes: Several seasons at the National Theatre, in the Richard Eyre and David Hare company in Pravda and The Government Inspector Futurists, Peter Gill's A Long Time Gone, Howard Davies's All My Sons and Mick Gordon's A Prayer for Owen Meany.
