This letter was written by Harry W. Fricker, the groundskeeper of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, to Albus Dumbledore on 6 July 1931.[1]

Dearest Albus,
Elizabeth and I are about to embark on our travel to Vancouver Island, but beofre leaving I wanted to write this brief note to thank you for all that you have contributed to us. I don't want to sound "over the top" and go at length, so let me simply say that you are without question one of the finest schoolmen and friends we have ever had. If we could get you to take a trip to the Island to viist us we would be so happy!
I also deeply appreciate your kind gift, of Whale watching. You must of heard me say how much I have always wanted to see whales in the wild. It has always been a dream of mine.
Good luck, Albus. Elizabeth joins me in wishing you, your family and the school a wonderful return and an exciting year.
