Changes: Harry Potter's thirteenth birthday

Early on July 31, 1993, Harry Potter realised he was thirteen years old. After realising it was his birthday, Harry was sent a Pocket Sneakoscope from his friend Ron Weasley, a Broomstick Servicing Kit from Hermione Granger, and a copy of the Monster Book of Monsters from Rubeus Hagrid. He was, also, sent a permission letter to go to the village Hogsmeade from Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall.

In the film adaptation of Prisoner of Azkaban, Vernon Dursley kept coming in on Harry as he tried to do his homework.
