Harry Potter: A History of Magic is the official book of the exhibition from the curators of the British Library. It takes the reader on a journey through the subjects studied at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.[1] The book features illustrations by Jim Kay, gives further insight on the various historical inspirations behind Hogwarts subjects as well as the objects within the series, and includes early manuscripts and notes drafted by J. K. Rowling.[2]
