Bone-Breaking Curse[]
The Bone-Breaking Curse (Confractus Ossa) is a curse invented by Harry Potter fan Delaney Wang. When cast successfully on a fellow human being or living creature, the curse snaps the victim’s bone(s) in half. Like the Hemorrhaging Curse, the result of the effects are based on the movements of the caster’s wand. In comparison to the Hemorrhaging Curse, the counter-curse for this spell is not yet invented.
Etymology[]
The incantation Confractus Ossa derives from the two Latin words: confractus, a participle of the verb meaning “to break”, and ossa, meaning “bones”. When both words are used in combination, it means “break the bones”.
