TMI posts[]
I've recently been rather concerned about this.
Due to my experiences with a certain user, I've figured that there is a way to get around the two existent points on the policy, and that's simply by saying bothersome things that aren't curse words or a personal attack.
For example, the user would often subtly hint suicide or talk about TMI and rather gross things. To put it short: They spoke about things that can still distress users.
I'm not sure how to phrase this as a rule, but it has been sort of bothering me.
My suggestion is "Don't post messages that could potentially cause distress to the other present users"
Thanks for reading, and what do you think? Cheers! 민태준 - 슈가 (Inconvenience me here!) 20:50, February 11, 2019 (UTC)
- I would hope that that requiring "language and topics being appropriate for all ages" would cover most TMI issues (as I wouldn't consider suicide as a kid-friendly topic). However, I can understand some need for limiting generally disruptive behavior (badgering, spamming/flooding the chat, etc, etc) so will think about how best to word this.
