- "No, you and Al will share a room only when I want the house demolished."
- — Harry Potter to his son James[src]
This house was the home of Harry and Ginevra Potter, along with their three children: James, Albus, and Lily Potter II.[1]
Since Albus and James both had their own rooms, it can be assumed that this house had at least four bedrooms.
History[]
Early history[]
This house was built sometime before 2017.[2]
2020[]
Summer[]
In the summer of 2020, Amos Diggory had shown up at this house with his caretaker and supposed niece Delphi. Having heard a rumor that the Ministry of Magic had obtained an illegal Time-Turner created by Theodore Nott, Amos urged Harry Potter to use it to go back in time and save Cedric Diggory. Harry denied that the Ministry had the Time-Turner and refused the idea, rightfully saying he couldn't meddle with time. While Albus Potter eavesdropping on the conversation, he and Delphi met for the first time. Delphi invited Albus to visit her and Amos at St Oswald's Home for Old Witches and Wizards, where she worked.
The day before Albus returned to school for his fourth year, Harry spoke to Albus alone in his bedroom with the hope of trying to get him to change his behavior. Harry gave Albus the blanket he was first wrapped in when he was brought to the Dursleys. However, Albus did not take to the gift too kindly and tried to make his father understand how he feels at school. Albus then picked up the blanket and threw it, causing it to collide with a love potion given to him by Ronald Weasley, which spilled all over the blanket. Albus then said that he sometimes wished he wasn't Harry's son, since his family name was not helping him at school. Harry then said he sometimes wished Albus wasn't his son either, making Albus very hurt. Harry regretted saying it, but the damage was done.
Harry spoke with Ginny about it while they were going to bed. Ginny said it will be okay, but Harry could not forgive himself. Harry had a nightmare that evening, and his scar started to hurt for the first time in years.
Time-travel[]
After Delphi brought Albus and Scorpius Malfoy time-travelled to 30 October 1981 - the day before James and Lily Potter were murdered. Knowing the date, they went to Godric's Hollow and decided they need to tell everyone in the future what was happening and use Harry's blanket to write a message. The two were thus able to leave a message, "Dad. Help. Godric's Hollow. 31/10/81". In the present time at the Potters' house, Harry and Ginny received a message from this blanket that was still left in Albus's bedroom.
