Head Goblin was an occupational title denoting the goblin that was in charge of all goblins at Gringotts Wizarding Bank,[1] presumably overseeing all of the bank's activities and affairs.
One of the duties that came with the position appeared to be the assignment of Nifflers to Curse-Breakers.[2]
