- "The Helmet of Urtkot is an ancient and storied relic, forged during a time of unity among the goblin clans. It inspired greatness — that is, until it was no longer ours. Then it became something else. A symbol of what has been lost — of all that wizardkind has taken from us. Reclaiming it would mean a great deal to goblinkind — and to Ranrok. He would be grateful to me should I return it."
- — Lodgok[src]
The Helmet of Urtkot was an ancient goblin relic.[1]
History[]
It was created by goblins at a time when the goblin clans were united. A witch stole it and it was put in her sarcophagus. After that, it became a symbol of what had been lost and what wizardkind had taken from them.[1]
Ashwinder groups stole it from the sarcophagus and kept it in a camp. Lodgok assigned a quest for a student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to steal it from the Ashwinders, hoping that it could be given as a gift to Ranrok to distract him from his search for a repository of ancient magic. The student stole it successfully, but the helmet did not distract Ranrok as intended.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- Even though it is called the Helmet of Urtkot in the in-game dialogue in Hogwarts Legacy, the name of the quest in which it is featured is called "The Helm of Urtkot".
