Henry Douthwaite (born 27 June 1980) is an English actor and mentor who portrayed Skender in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Henry Douthwaite's role as Skender in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them involved a scene with Ezra Miller (Credence Barebone), which was, however, cut from the film.[1] In Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Douthwaite was recast by Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, who from then on would play Skender's role. Douthwaite theorised the recast possibly due to people clearly wanting an actor with a bigger name.[2]
