A social club composed of members of wizarding high society
High society was the behaviour, lifestyle, and events of people of a high social class, to which membership was considered exclusive and prestigious.[1] In the wizarding world, there were a number of wealthy and celebrated individuals who were regarded as being members of wizarding high society, such as Lucius Malfoy, Gilderoy Lockhart, Celestina Warbeck, and other members of their exclusive social club.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
- Besides the social club, there are various other elements in the Harry Potter universe that are quite similar to high society, such as the elitism and connections to power displayed by pure-blood families throughout the series and the exclusivity of the Slug Club.
