This infestation of Chizpurfles took place during the 2008–2009 school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It caused a generalised magic malfunction around Hogwarts Castle, and it was eventually solved by an unidentified student with the help of Rubeus Hagrid.
