The Homorphus Charm may or may not be a real spell, as it was described by Professor Gilderoy Lockhart as what he used to cure the Wagga Wagga Werewolf. He later admitted to having stolen the credit from an Armenian warlock. As there is no cure for lycanthropy, the charm probably does not exist at all, or at least its effects were exaggerated. This may be what Remus Lupin and Sirius Black used to reveal Peter Pettigrew.
Etymology
Homorphus is a combination of terms which, taken together, means "turn into a man."
