- "Honey can be used in some potions and it also tastes good on toast."
- — Description[src]
Honey is a sweet substance made by bees from the nectar in flowers.[1] It is consumed by humans as a foodstuff, and could also be used by wizards as a potion ingredient, especially when made into honeywater.[2]
Honey was a known component of Belch Powder;[3] 2 pounds of honey, in the apothecaries' system of weights, were required ingredients.[4]
Home Made Yummy Honey was a type of honey made by Molly Weasley.[5]
The Glumbumble had a disastrous effect on the honey produced if it infested a beehive.[6]
