House-Elf Armour[1] was a smaller suit of armour designed to be worn by a house-elf. A suit of this armour sat in the Entrance Hall of Hogwarts Castle by 1996.[2]
History[]
This suit of armour was designed by a cruel wizard for his house-elf, as he wished for his elf to be protected in battle. However, as the armour was considered clothing, the wizard inadvertantly freed his house-elf by granting him this suit of armour, and the elf subsequently Disapparated, never to be seen again. The armour was housed in the Trophy Room at Hogwarts Castle during the 1890–1891 school year,[1] and was later moved to the Entrance Hall during the 1996–1997 school year.[2]
