The Hufflepuff Medal of Excellence was a medal awarded by Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to a student, Hufflepuff or otherwise, who had shown exemplary commitment to the ideals of Hufflepuff House.[1]
History[]
During the 1986–1987 school year, after Jacob's sibling had stopped Professor and Head of Hufflepuff House, Pomona Sprout's Fanged Geranium Gerald from wilting, Professor Sprout awarded them with this medal as thanks.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- The ribbon on the Hufflepuff Medal of Excellence has the House's primary colour, yellow, on the inside and the secondary House colour, black, on the outside. The Medals of Excellence for the other Houses have the primary colour on the outside and the secondary colour on the inside.
