- "This can't be allowed to stand! The vote must be taken again. Come on, Anton. Do something!"
- — Ida Webb to Anton Vogel[src]
Ida Webb was a British witch[1] who served as a representative for Great Britain for the International Confederation of Wizards in 1932.[2]
Biography[]
During the 1932 International Confederation of Wizards' Supreme Mugwump election, she and another ICW member watched with horror as Gellert Grindelwald marched through the streets with his supporters, but Supreme Mugwump Anton Vogel assured them both that allowing him to campaign for the election was the only way to allow his supporters to democratically voice their opinions without resorting to violence if suppressed, and that he wanted him to lose the election.[2]
During the walk of the Qilin in Bhutan, Webb and other ICW members watched Grindelwald be fraudulently be sworn into the position with Vogel's help. However, once Newton Scamander and other members of Dumbledore's first army showed up and identified the Qilin used in the ceremony as dead and reanimated by Grindelwald, she declared that the result could not stand to Vogel, once the dead Qilin became limp in his arms. She watched Vicência Santos be rightfully declared the winner and Grindelwald's departure and escape.[2]
