Ilvermorny's snakewood tree was a large snakewood tree that sprung up after Isolt Sayre planted Salazar Slytherin's wand in the grounds of Ilvermorny.
History[]
After the duel between Isolt Sayre and her aunt, Gormlaith Gaunt, Isolt didn't want to have anything to do with the wand ever again and so buried it in the ground. It eventually grew into a large and unknown species of snakewood tree that resisted all attempts to prune it. Its leaves were later found to have powerful healing properties.[1]
