Incarcifors was the incantation of a transforming spell that transfigured an object into a suitable prison for a nearby creature, allowing it to capture or imprison the victim.[1]
Etymology
The prefix "incarci-" probably comes from the English "to incarcerate", with the -fors suffix attached.
