This infiltration occurred within the Feldcroft Catacomb as part of Sebastian Sallow's plot to find a cure for Anne Sallow's curse. It saw Sebastian and his friend infiltrate the Catacomb in search for a relic with the power to cure others with Dark magic.[1]
Background[]
After the Break-in of Slytherin's Scriptorium, Sebastian Sallow read in Slytherin's Spellbook about a medieval student who had accessed the relic in the Feldcroft Catacomb, but had been unable to take it out. Thus, he preserved it within the Catacomb behind several layers of bones, where it went untouched for centuries. The relic was supposed to possess healing properties, which Sebastian was eager to untap, as his sister Anne Sallow was the victim of a perilous curse.[1]
Events[]
Sebastian asked his friend to meet up with him outside of the Feldcroft Catacomb before heading in. They fought various Thornback spiders and found the medieval student's journal entries scattered throughout the premises.[1]
Eventually, the pair discovered the relic, which Sebastian took. However, they were stopped by Ominis Gaunt, who neither had realised had been following them. Ominis found it hard to even look at Sebastian, and argued to their mutual friend that they had agreed to stop meddling with the Dark Arts after their entry into Slytherin's Scriptorium. However, the friend either managed to persuade Ominis otherwise, or went so far as to use the Imperius Curse on him to force him to stand aside.[1]
Sebastian and his friend ran out of the Catacomb only to be greeted by an ongoing attack on the town of Feldcroft.[1]
