The Inquisitorial Squad Badge[3] was a badge was given to members of the Inquisitorial Squad by Dolores Umbridge in 1996.[1]

During the latter half of the 1995–1996 school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, after helping combat Dumbledore's Army, members of the short-lived Inquisitorial Squad were awarded this badge by Hogwarts High Inquisitor Dolores Umbridge.[1]
Members of the group like Draco Malfoy who wore these badges at Hogwarts used them to reflect their newly given authority over other students by Umbridge, including the power to dock house points from students who criticised or disrespected their authority, and to help Umbridge enforce her various authoritarian Educational Decrees.[1]
