Instant Warming Socks were socks that sensed how cold it was outside and automatically adjusted to keep the wearer's feet warm.[1]
History[]
In 2010, the Instant Warming Socks were being sold at Gladrags Wizardwear.[1]
When the house-elf Rimney was sent to buy clothing for their master, Lottie Turner explained to them how these socks worked. Her friend thought that was brilliant and asked Rimney if their master would like them. Rimney wasn't sure as their master always complained about their feet being hot. They discarded the idea of buying the socks.[1]
