- "Instant scalping… but dragons had no hair… pepper breath… that would probably increase a dragon's firepower… horn tongue… just what he needed, to give it an extra weapon…"
- —Harry Potter scans Basic Hexes for the Busy and Vexed for defence against a dragon[src]
This was a hex (incantation unknown) that instantly scalped all the hair off of a target.[1]
History
Harry Potter came across it while browsing the index of Basic Hexes for the Busy and Vexed, trying to find a way to fight the dragon he knew he would have to face for the First Task of the Triwizard Tournament. He quickly decided it would be ineffective, because dragons do not have hair.[1]
