An International Task Force was a special response team employed by the International Confederation of Wizards, whether because of a threat to the security of the wizarding community that proved too great to be contained by any one wizarding governing body, or had a hard time enforcing the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy without help.[1]
One such task force were known to have been permanently stationed in the mountains of Tibet, in response to repeated breaches of Clause 73 of the law in questions due to the numerous sightings of Yetis by Muggles.[1]
