The Invisibility Booster was a device Arthur Weasley installed on his family's Ford Anglia. It was activated by a small silver button on the car's dashboard, and would turn the car, its passengers, and everything else inside invisible.
History
On 1 September, 1992, when Harry Potter and Ron Weasley "borrowed" the car to get to Hogwarts, the Invisibility Booster malfunctioned and several Muggles witnessed the car flying overhead. News of the incident was featured in the Evening Prophet.[1]
