Emily Tyler humiliating Ismelda Murk by reading the contents of her diary aloud
Before and during the 1988–1989 school year, Ismelda Murk would often write on her diary about her life at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At some point in that school year, Ismelda bumpied into Emily Tyler, and refused to apologise, so Emily deemed it a 'fitting punishment' to take her diary and humiliate her by reading aloud a love letter addressed to Barnaby Lee aloud in front of a crowd of other students in a courtyard.[1]
