J. Pippin's Potions (also known as Pippin's Potions)[1] was a chain of apothecaries established in 1753.[2] J. Pippin's sold "potions for all ailments". There were branches in Diagon Alley[3] and Hogsmeade.[4][1] J. Pippin's grandson, Parry Pippin, owned the Hogsmeade branch in the 1890s.[1]
History[]
In the early 1890s, the Hogsmeade shop was visited by a student who had started Hogwarts in their fifth year. Parry Pippin, owner of the shop, gave the student ingredients for the Edurus and Wiggenweld potions.
